Overview

Okay okay, you don't have to tell me. I already know that these don't look very appetising. Nor does the name 'kale chips' sound very appetising. However, I'm happy to announce that they are SIGNIFICANTLY better tasting than they look or sound.

Kale is a weird vegetable. In recent years, I feel it's had a resurgence in popularity and has been labelled as a 'super food'. But honestly, I'm not the biggest fan of kale in and of itself. I think both it's health properties and taste is overrated. But in the form of crispy chips, it suddenly becomes one of my favourite vegetables. Now granted, they are seasoned with a few ingredients; but regardless, these kale chips are extremely quick and easy to make, and are also great for snacking.

I've kept this recipe nice and simple, because I've found that when it comes to kale chips, simpler is better. I've tested other recipes that have one million ingredients, and I feel like it's just overcomplicating things for no reason.

That's why I call my recipe the 'best kale chips recipe'; because not only are they super tasty, but they're also extremely simple and easy to make. They literally take just 5 minutes to prepare and 15 minutes to bake in the oven.

Taste & Consistency

These kale chips are quite crispy with a light crunch to them. When seasoned with the listed ingredients, they have a great balance of flavours; not too salty and not too garlicy. You'll absolutely love them!
