That signature gingerbread spice is a flavour that screams 'CHRISTMAS' as soon as it touches your taste buds. I personally love the taste of gingerbread, but I also know many people that dislike the taste. In my experience, people either seem to love it or hate it.
The good news is, that since you're on this recipe page and reading this right now, it's likely that you fall into the 'love it' category... Or maybe you just love bliss balls and want to test out some new flavours?
Either way, these Gingerbread Bliss Balls are to die for. Every bite reminds you of the joys of holiday time. Whether you're making them in the leadup to Christmas, or just as a healthy snack, one thing is for certain.... you're going to absolutely love these bliss balls and their distinctive gingerbread spice.
I'd also recommend using a food processor for this recipe... it will make your life a lot easier. If you don't have one, you can also try using a blender (or whatever you have).
Yes, that's right. These bliss balls are both vegan and extremely healthy. As such, they're a great raw treat to snack on throughout the day. I personally love to have them as a morning snack or as part of my dessert. I've also recently been cutting them up and mixing them through my yoghurt. However, how you choose to eat them is completely up to you!
I'd recommend experimenting and seeing what you can do with these versatile little treats.
When designing this recipe, I didn't want the 'gingerbread spice' to be too overwhelming. However, I also didn't want it to be too moderate either. So I've done my best to create a gingerbread taste that delivers a substantial kick, but that also isn't too overpowering.
These gingerbread bliss balls can be kept in the fridge for up to a week. If you prefer your bliss balls to be a little more firm, you can actually store them in the freezer. In my experience, they don't freeze over, and you can pull them out of the freezer and eat them straight away.
If you loved this gingerbread bliss ball recipe, then you'll probably love some of my other bliss ball recipes (I have a tonne). I'd recommend first trying my salted caramel bliss balls or peanut butter bliss balls.
