Have you been looking for a smoothie that keeps you full for an extended period of time?

If so, you've come to the right place. This lean green breakfast smoothie is the perfect way to start the. Packed with healthy fats, protein and non refined carbohydrates, it's an extremely well balanced smoothie that is more nutritious than a vast majority of other breakfast alternatives.

I've included protein powder in this smoothie to help keep you energised and full until lunch. Not only is this smoothie great for breakfast, but it's also amazing to have after a workout to aid in muscle recovery.

If you don't have protein powder, or don't like the taste, feel free to add something like natural peanut butter, peanut flour, Greek yoghurt, chia seeds or flax seeds instead.

The bright green colour of this smoothie screams "SUMMER" and is extremely aesthetic (...in my opinion anyway).

Vegan

If you want to make this smoothie vegan, simply use plant based protein. All other ingredients listed are vegan friendly!

Taste & Consistency

The taste of this smoothie is out of this world. Despite it's health properties, this lean green breakfast smoothie will have you sucking every last drop out of your glass. The zucchini gives this smoothie a thick, almost creamy consistency that you'll appreciate if you like smoothie bowls, and the vanilla bean and banana give it a sweet, fruity taste.
