Overview


Ahhh, the flavour of salted caramel... Some love it, some hate it. If you fall in to the former category, then these healthy salted caramel bliss balls are a must-try treat. With zero sugar, these little balls are an amazing raw treat that will satisfy your sweet tooth without compromising your health.


Some of the ingredients are a little weird, but you should be able to find them in the supermarket without much difficulty.


You will also need a food processor for this recipe. If you don't have one, you may also be able to use a blender.



Bliss Ball Mania


There seems to be a weird obsession with bliss balls in the health world, and I've seen the supermarket shelves filling up with more and more bliss ball options. I've already posted a couple of bliss ball recipes (including Peanut Butter Bliss Balls and Gingerbread Bliss Balls) on here as well as my Instagram; and every time I do, I get a flurry of people rushing to tell me how amazing they are and asking for a new bliss ball recipe.


And I can assure you that these Healthy Salted Caramel Bliss Balls certainly don't disappoint. In fact, they could be my favourite bliss ball recipe that I've come up with to date! So give them a try and let me know what to think.


The Taste & Consistency


These balls pack a powerful salted caramel taste and sport a smooth texture that melts in your mouth. As already mentioned, salted caramel is a bit of a love it or hate it flavour, so I wanted to appease the salted caramel fans out there by loading these little babies with a strong caramel-ey kick.

Ingredients



Method


  1. Add all ingredients into a food processor and blend until well combined. Depending on how soft your dates are you may need to add a splash of water to help it blend.
  2. Roll into balls and roll through desiccated coconut to coat.
  3. Store in the fridge.
  4. Enjoy
